The Burke Lab studies the genetic basis of adaptation using laboratory evolution experiments.  

 

Our primary study organism is the brewer's yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
 

We are always looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our team.

Dr. Megan Sandoval-Powers was awarded a prestigious NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship to support her research on the evolution of antifungal drug resistance.  Congratulations Megan!
